- 5-7 pieces Pomfret fish
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Pinch turmeric powder
- as per taste Salt
- 1 lemon juice
- Pinch red colour
- 1 tbsp oil
- As required Oil
- For Dal-
- 1/2 cup toor dal
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 1/2 cup yellow moong dal
- 1/2 cup Orange massor dal
- 1/2 cup urad dal
- As required glass water
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp corrainder powder
- As per taste Salt
- 2 tbsp coriander and mint leaves
- For tempering-
- 2 Cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 1 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small bottlegourd cut into pieces
Instructions to make Healthy and Delicious Pomfret fish fry Thali
- Wash and soak dal for 1 hour. Pomfret fish marination wash and keep fish ready. Take a bowl add chilli powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, 1 lemon juice and 1 tsp oil mix it coat wel with the marinade and keep aside.
- Take a pressure cooker keep dal for boiling add pinch turmeric add salt 3 glass water and cook upto 4 whistle. Once pressure cools down blend it and mix all dal then add bottle gourd pieces and take 1 more whistle.
- For tempering dal take a pan or kadai add oil once get heat add spices once get fragnant add green chilli, onion and saute it. Once it get transculent add tomatoes ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes. Add all dry masala salt saute add 2 tbsp water and cook till oil releases. Pour this masala on boil dal add mint leaves coriander leaves lemon juice boil it.
- Wash carrot, cucumber, tomato, lemon, mint leaves. For carrot peel it cucumber peel it and cut into same pieces and serve it.
- Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil and heat it. Place the marinated fish and shallow fry sides turning sides on both sides till it get cooked on both sides in low flame till dark brown. Transfer in a serving platter, garnish with onion salad and lemon mint leaves
- So lunch thali is ready serve it in a plate jeera rice, chapatti, mix dal fry, fish fry, salad and buttermilk. Gulab jamun recipe will be shared in next page.
