  1. 1 kg King Fish pieces marinated
  2. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 tbsp Black Mustard Seeds
  4. 2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  5. 2 tsp Salt
  6. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  8. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  9. 2 Tomatoes finely chopped
  10. 2 Onions finely chopped
  11. 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
  12. 1 tsp Fish Masala
  13. 2 tbsp Oil
  14. as required Extra Oil for frying

Steps to make Fish Curry

  1. Heat Oil in a pot. Add Mustard Seeds at first. Let them crackle along. Now add chopped Onions and Curry Leaves too. Saute until light brown for about 3-4 minutes. Also, add all the powdered spices according to one's own taste.
  2. Now add chopped Tomatoes and cook until mushy and soft on low heat. Meanwhile, shallow fry Fish pieces as required. Keep aside.
  3. After the Curry is almost done with no raw smell and perfectly cooked, add shallow fried Fish pieces to it. Mix gently. Cover and simmer for just a few more minutes.
  4. Serve hot alongside a steaming hot plate of plain boiled Rice. Yum! Enjoy!
