Steam the fish in microwave for 1 minute.Debone the fish and cut into cubes.Alternatively use fish fillet and cut into cubes.Make a slurry with cornflour,plain flour,little salt adding garlic paste,soya sauce,orange red food colour.Heat oil in a pan.Dip each piece in batter and fry.Add 1 tbsp oil and fry the slit green chillies.Set aside.

Sprinkle chopped garlic and fry till light brown.Saute cubed onion and capsicum.Add the fried fish.Now add tomato sauce,chilli sauce,some more soya sauce and salt to taste in the remaining slurry.Add this to the fish and toss.Add fried slit green chillies,chopped spring onion and toss so that gravy coats the fish.Serve hot with mixed fried rice or chowmein.
