  3. 1 Capsicum, cut in squares
  4. 1 pod Garlic, finely chopped

  7. 2 tbsp Chilli sauce -
  8. 2 tbsp Soya sauce -
  9. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste -
  10. 1 tbsp Corn flour -
  11. 1 tbsp Black Pepper powder
  12. as per taste Salt
  13. as required Spring onions finely chopped for garnish
  14. 2 tbsp Sesame seeds - to garnish

Steps to make Chilli Fish

  1. Take 250 grams of boneless fishpieces/cubes (I have taken seer fish here) and clean it thoroughly.
  2. Marinate the fish with 1 tspn Soya sauce + 1 tbspn chilli sauce + ginger garlic paste + pepper powder + salt to taste.
  3. Add the corn flour to this marinated fish, and mix well. You may add a little water to mix cornflour with fish.
    Do not make it watery. Set the marination aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. In the meantime chop the onions, capsicum, chillies as mentioned in the ingredients section.
  5. Once, this is done shallow fry the marinated fish. Now, heat a wok and add oil to it.
  6. Saute the chopped garlic to this oil. Once it emanates the aroma, add onions, capsicum, and green chillies to it for 2-4 minutes.
  7. Then add a tspn of soya sauce and mix well. Now, add 1 tbspn of chilli sauce to it. Mix all of this well and add salt to it.
  8. If you are in for a spicy chilli fish, you may add a bit of crushed black pepper.
  9. Now add the fried fish cubes to this mixture. And miz it well.
  10. If you need a semi gravish chilli fish, mix 2 tspn cornflour to lukewarm water and mix it well. Add this mixture to the wok and cook for 2 minutes.
  11. The spicy chilli fish is ready to be garnished by spring onions and sesame seeds.
    The chilli fish is ready to be served.
