- First, wash the Masoor dal and put it in the pressure cook and add Tomato slices,garam masala and the spices and pressure cook it for 3 whistles. when the Dal is mashed then add water and tamarind and cook it. when tamarind water is boiled.
- For Tadka add 3 tbsp oil, javitri dry chillies and crushed garlic in a kadhai and fry it for 5 minutes and curry leaves (optional) and add Tadka in Dal. Dal is ready, enjoy it with plain rice.
